A homecoming

The first solo painting of artist Raymond Legaspi at the Museo Negrense dela Salle, his first one man show, opened on March 6 and will end March 25. The theme of the show is SILAY Painting.

Raymond is a graduate of the University of St. La Salle, Class 1981. He took up his Bachelor of Science degree in Fine Arts major in advertising at the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila. Married to lovely and supportive wife, Mia Jalandoni Legaspi, they are blessed with two daughters, Kristina and Isabel.

He worked as art director-creative director of three multinational advertising agencies in Manila. After discussing the pros and cons with Mia, the family finally decided to come home to Silay to continue his love and passion for painting. He is the co-owner of Arc Worldwide Advertising agency. Sony Sabino fell in love with one of the paintings, Fat Lady in Duster and Bingo. It will be hanged in a very prominent place in her house. Silaynons came in full force to support Raymond in his first solo exhibit. He will have a bigger venue at Ayala Museum in early May.
