Other nominees are Dr. Teofilo de la Cruz from Mindanao, an orthopedically impaired physician, and Jonathan Capanas, the father of a visually-impaired child and Dean of the University of San Jose-Recolletos College of Law, the press release said.

AKAPIN will hold a press conference from 10 to 12 a.m. today at the La Cavitena Restaurant, at Silliman Avenue. Panelists will be Katrina Segundo, a PWD and former nominee of Pinoy May K partylist; Jonathan Capanas, the AKAPIN Visayas nominee, and Nonoy Concha, president of the Federation of PWD in Central Visayas, the press release added.*
