'B' sugar prices remain
above P1,000 per Lkg

Millgate prices of domestic or "B" sugar remain above the P1,000 per 50-Lkg levels this week, even inching higher to as much as P1,133 per Lkg, figures provided by the Sugar Master Plan Foundation show.

From the previous week's prices between P1,060 and P1,137.35 per Lkg, prices this week rose to the level between P1,070 and P1,333 per Lkg.

For the current week, Binalbagan-Isabela Sugar Company sold its stocks at P1,103.90 (high) and P1,100 (low), for a total volume of 20,589.22 Lkgs. ; Central Azucarera de La Carlota, P1,109.17 (high) and P1,098 (low), 515.35 Lkgs. ; Hawaiian-Philippine Company, P1,128.89 (high) and P1,120.98, 26,619.68 Lkgs.; SONEDCO, P1,101.57, 7,749.63 Lkgs.; Victorias Milling Company, P1,080, 6,578.25 Lkgs.; Lopez Sugar Corp., P1,080; Sagay Central Inc., P1,090; CADP, P1,110 (high) and P1,085 (low);
