Macias unopposed for governor
BY JUANCHO GALLARDE

No opponent has so far surfaced to challenge gubernatorial candidate Emilio Macias II with 15 days to go before the deadline for filing of certificates of candidacies for local bets.

Macias' running mate, Vice Gov. Jose Petit Baldado disclosed that the visitations and consultations conducted by the group all over the province have been doing well.

He said Macias jibes with the position, and they welcome any opponent.

A last-termer congressman, Macias has confirmed the inclusion of Board Member Mariant Escaņo Villegas as the fourth member of the group in the second district.

He said this will end speculations that Villegas is being courted to run for governor. The four candidates running for board member under the Nationalist People's Coalition, are incumbents Michael Erwin Macias, Escaņo Villegas, Melimore Sayson and Saleto Erames, or the MEVS.*JG
