We'll be non-partisan in
polls, RPA-ABB says

The Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Boncayao Brigade in Negros Occidental yesterday said they will not campaign for any candidate or partylist in the coming May 14 election.

Victorino Sumulong, RPA-ABB spokesman, said in a press statement yesterday, that they will remain non-partisan, but will help maintain a peaceful and clean election. Sumulong said they condemn the legal front organizations of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army such as Karapatan and their partylists. He said they are not campaigning together with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and the report was only black propaganda against them.

He said they also condemn the CPP-NPA for collecting permit to campaign fees from candidates who want to campaign in the mountains. He said they are calling the government to push through the Confidence Building phase, which is the first phase in the peace agreement process, the press release said.*DMG
