A 60-year-old man was hit and killed on the spot by a speeding motorcycle Saturday along the national highway in Sitio Nabugon, Barangay Nagbualay, Basay, Oriental Negros.

Victim Sotero Grayan, of Sitio Bagacay, in the barangay was declared dead at the Bayawan District Hospital.

Traffic investigation revealed that Grayan was bumped by a blue Ramjet motorcycle.

A witness said the driver did not stop and hurriedly left the victim sprawled on the pavement. Investigators recovered at the scene of the incident a black sandal, left pair, with markings "Lian Ping" and motorcycle parts.
