The Bacolod City Legal Office deferred yesterday the implementation of a closure order on a Bingo outlet at SM City-Bacolod being operated by one of the sons of Bacolod Rep. Monico Puentevella, for lack of a Mayor's Permit.

Two Talisay councilors have filed complaints before the Commission on Audit of Talisay City against their colleagues in the Sangguniang Panlungsod and Mayor Eric Saratan for alleged double funding of projects.

The complaint was filed by Talisay Councilors Charles Benedict Lacson and Jose Maria Astorga. Saratan said no anomalies had been committed and called the compliant "politically motivated."

The two councilors said the complaint was filed to denounce the irregularity which is being committed by the majority of the members of the Talisay SP in connivance with the mayor.
