Kris Aquino, seven months pregnant of her and Negrense cager James Yap's first child, was rushed to the Makati Medical Center Wednesday night, her second visit to the hospital in less than a week.

Television reports last night said that Aquino is in stable condition but has been advised by doctors to take a complete rest for one week. Yap brought Aquino to the hospital and spent the night beside his wife, the report added.

Aquino admitted that she and Yap are having marital problems amid reports of Yap's alleged affair with a beauty clinic assistant named Hope Centeno. Aquino, one of ABS-CBN's top talents, was also hospitalized last week, after news broke out that Centeno was set to reveal details of her 10-month affair with Yap in GMA-7.

Meanwhile, Yap's uncle, Emmanuel, has come to the defense of his nephew, saying James has been consistent in saying that he did not have a relationship with Centeno.

In a separate interview over ABS-CBN, James' mother, Anne, said Kris had sought her advice in handling their marital problems. The older Yap, however, did not comment on James and Kris' relationship as well as her son's alleged affair. *CPT
