The Catherina Citadini Debate Society bested other high school teams in the Dumaguete Inter-School Parliamentary Debate Championship held Saturday at the Silliman University Audio Visual Theater, Dumaguete City.

The resolution was, "The Commercialization of Music will lead to the Death of the Music Industry." The winning team took up the negative side against the Dumaguete City Science High School in the finals.

Awarded as best debater and speaker was Roxanne Joyce Mercado. Her team members were Kyra Marie Martinez and Airah Davad, and coach was Michael Tubog.

The other team was from the Silliman University High School.*RG
