Organic marketing
lecture held

An officer of a Manila-based organic market cooperative yesterday conducted a lecture on marketing plans and product preservation methods with local organic producers at the Organic Market Pavillon in Bacolod City.

Mara Pardo de Tavera, managing director of Plant Heritage Marketing Cooperative which has three branches of organic markets in Manila, had initially joined the Negros Island Organic Farmers Festival in Dumaguete City, before conducting the lecture yesterday, Gov. Joseph Maraņon said.

A press release from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist said Tavera's organization can serve as a model for local producers pursuing the massive production organically-grown crops. *
