Electric bills can be paid at SM

Member-consumers of the Central Negros Electric Cooperative can now pay their monthly electric bills at SM City-Bacolod, a press release from the coop said. CENECO has forged a partnership with SM City-Bacolod in collecting the coop consumers' electric bill payments through over-the-counter scheme starting today.

There will be designated collection counters within the mall for the member-consumers of CENECO who want to pay their electric bills. SM City-Bacolod will accept payments for non-overdue bills from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, it said.

Acceptable payments are in the form of cash and local clearing checks drawn in favor of CENECO.

A P5 service fee per transaction will be imposed by SM City - Bacolod to every paying consumer, the press release said, adding that the amount will go directly to SM and is not an additional charge of CENECO.

CENECO also advised consumers to bring their statements of account.

Aside from SM City-Bacolod, payments are also accepted at the CENECO main office in Gonzaga-Mabini Streets, from Mondays to Fridays, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no noon breaks and during Saturdays, half day only, from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. *
