Mayor urges Bacoleņos to read

Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia is encouraging Bacoleņos to spend time reading because a well-read citizen is a tool for progress, a City Hall press release said.

Leonardia said the city has a well-equipped library, and a sufficient number of reference books to service the needs of students and professionals. He is therefore urging city residents to take advantage of these.

The Bacolod City Library located at the corner of Libertad and Araneta Streets, is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays without noon break, and on Saturdays from 9 to 12 a.m. The public may call Tel. Nos. 435-3831 and 434-4448, for details, the press release added.*
