Four teams have confirmed their participation in the Bacolod leg of the Shakey's Volleyball Invitational League, which opens June 23 at the St. La Salle College Covered Court in Bacolod City.

Roger Banzuela, president of the Negros Occidental Volleyball Association, yesterday said La Consolacion College-Main, Doña Montserrat Lopez National High School in Silay, Doña Hortensia Salas Benedicto High School in La Carlota and USLS are set to see action in the tournament.

Banzuela said he is still waiting for confirmation of two other teams --- St. Joseph's School-La Salle and St. Benilde School.

The Bacolod champion will lead the cast in the national finals scheduled from July 19-21 also at the USLS Covered Court, the former Philippine Volleyball Federation president said. The winners from the Manila, Iloilo and Cebu legs will also vie for the crown, Banzuela added. The Iloilo leg will start June 16, while the Cebu eliminations will begin June 17. *CPT
