mulls sending The Women and Children's Concerns Desk of the Oriental Negros police is now looking into possibility of enrolling rescued abused victims to school while they are staying at the youth center. S/Insp. Rosalinda Abellon, Chief of the provincial WCCD said rescued victims have expressed their interests in going back to school this year. She added that this can be
a way for the victims to recover from trauma. Abellon, however, said victims might
be more traumatized if their schoolmates would know they are from refuge home,
especially those victims of sexual abuse. | ||||||||||||||||
