Celebrations left and right

It was indeed a great day for me last July 22, a Sunday, when, I joined a breakfast celebration for birthday celebrator Letty Piccio. Afterwards, off I went for lunch with another celebrator, Ann Lopez, at La Consolacion College, and merienda at home with the SSS friends of Letty.

At seven o'clock, was the celebration of Tony de Ramos, the pride of Bacolod City in the fashion scene, at the sprawling de Ramos residence. It was attended by family and friends. Coincidentally, it was also the wedding anniversary of his brother Vico and his wife, Cena de Ramos.

So many faces that I have not seen in a long time were there to greet Tony. To my surprise, sister Hannah, together with husband Ramon and children Kathleen and RJ came all the way from San Francisco to make the affair complete.

Three big canopies were placed in case of rain, to accommodate hundreds of visitors.

I was wondering why a big stage was placed in front of the L-shaped buffet table - and another surprise was a show presented by the DIVAs. And what a show it was, as a group of beautiful ladies (gays) impersonators made a blast!

And really, what a show it was, and even if I had to pay P500 for the entrance, I would still go to watch.
