boxer Czar Amonsot, who lost a bloody duel with Australian WBO champion Michael
Katsidies Sunday, was given a clean bill of health by neuro-specialist Dr. Debra
Nelson yesterday. Philboxing.com reported that Amonsot underwent a final
CT scan after an MRI that showed that the little blood clot outside his brain
was not serious, disproving earlier reports. He is set to check out of the Las
Vegas Hospital. But the website said Amonsot may have to put his career on hold
for the next three to six months to recover. The Nevada State Athletic
Commission, which gives licenses to boxers fighting in Las Vegas, told journalist
Ronnie Nathanielsz that "Amonsot's career as far as Nevada was concerned was probably
