Robinsons turns 10
Robinsons Place-Bacolod City formally opened its Gallery of Corporate Success
yesterday as part of the month-long celebration of its 10 years of business triumph
in Bacolod City. Robinson's Land Corp., group property manager,
Joseph Sian and Secretary to the Bacolod Mayor Goldwyn Nifras led the ribbon-
cutting ceremony at the fountain area of the mall. The Gallery
of Corporate Success showcases the JG Summit Group of Companies - who they are
and how each in its own way contributes towards improving the quality of life
of the Filipino people, a press release from the company said.
Also present were Public Information Officer Ramon Lozana and Executive assistant
to the Bacolod Mayor Benjie Torre. With the opening of Robinsons
Place - Bacolod in 1997, it brought to the people of Bacolod and Negros the kind
of shopping experience available only in the greater Metro Manila area, it added.
After a decade, "servicing a need" went beyond commerce to
actually touch lives, the release said. This experience bespeaks of the corporate
strength of the JG Summit Holdings Inc., which is the force that brought Robinsons
Place to Bacolod City and Negros as a whole through its real estate arm - Robinsons
Land Corp. Other activities lined up for its 10th year anniversary
include "Martin Nievera live at the mall" on July 28 at 4 p.m.; Laser Light Show,
a spectacular indoor lights and sounds show, on July 28-29 at 7 p.m.; and a fashion
show featuring the Philippines Next Top Model winner, Grendel Alvarado with the
Bacolod Association of Models, on July 29.*CGS back
