Guv on leave for two weeks
BY CARLA GOMEZ

Vice Governor Isidro Zayco will be the acting governor of Negros Occidental for the next two weeks.

He said Gov. Joseph Maraņon availed of a forced leave starting yesterday until July 29.

The governor needs a little rest, Zayco said.

The governor who was taking a break yesterday continued to send funny text jokes to acquaintances and said he was just a phone call away.

On Monday he was at the Capitol for the signing of an amended contract with the Philippine National Bank on its lease of provincial government property next to the Capitol Lagoon Park.

Meanwhile, Emilio Yulo III who garnered the most number of votes among the board members will take the place of Zayco as presiding officer of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan also for the next two weeks.*CPG
