RTC judge loses
laptop to robbers

The residence of Judge Rafael Crescencio Tan Jr. was burglarized, at 4 a.m., Saturday, at Claytown Subdivision, Barangay Daro, Dumaguete City.

Tan, who is the presiding judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 30, told the DAILY STAR that unidentified suspects destroyed the front window of his house, and stole his laptop computer, Samsonite traveling bag with important documents, and a black bag containing lecture notes. He said the robbery took place while there was power interruption in their place, and was discovered by his helper later.

Tan said the suspects left his Samsonite bag under his car and the other bag with lecture notes was found behind his house Saturday afternoon.

The laptop computer had not been recovered yet up to presstime yesterday.*RG
