Three minors and two security guards were reported missing by the police yesterday in Victorias and Kabankalan cities during the weekend.

Laundrywoman Bella Salimbot reported to the police that her three children, Rene Boy, 14; Ronalyn, 8,and Rodel, 6, could not be found at their house in Hacienda Soledad, Brgy. 20, Victorias City, on Sunday, and were still missing as of yesterday. PO1 Joy Ellaga, chief of the Victorias police Women's and Children Concerned Desk, said the three children left their home without permission from their mother.

However, neighbors of Salimbot claimed that the three minors left their home to fetch their mother who was doing laundry work at the Canetown Subdivision in Victorias City, on Sunday.

In Kabankalan City, security guards Hernani Ilano and George Manigos remained missing up to yesterday, after they reportedly jumped into a river on Saturday while fleeing from an armed group moving towards them in Brgy. Tabugon.

Ilano and Manigos are guards of an hacienda in Brgy. Tabugon, Kabankalan City, that has been agrarian reform problem, police said.

The search for the two security guards is being conducted by Kabankalan volunteer rescue groups, in coordination with the police and is still ongoing.*GPB
