Another motorcycle accident snuffed the lives of a couple Saturday at the highway of Hacienda Lizares in Brgy. Matab-ang, Talisay City.

The victims were identified by the police as Richard Rodrigazo, and his wife, Jocelyn.

Police investigations show that Rodrigazo had fetched his wife in Bacolod City, and they were on their way home to Talisay City, when they were hit by another vehicle.

Both sustained multiple injuries in their bodies, and were declared dead on arrival at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Hospital in Bacolod City, police said. Police investigations also showed that the driver of the pick-up vehicle, identified as Nilo Rebalde, immediately fled after the incident. moremoremore

Jenelyn Paduano wants support for her children*

The ex-wife of the national commander of the Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Boncayao Brigade is demanding that he comply with a court order requiring him to pay child support of P12,000 a month.

"I am appealing to him as a father to provide support for his children," Jenelyn Paduano, the former wife of Joseph Stephen Paduano, alias Carapali Lualhati, said.

She issued the appeal for support for her four children at a press conference Saturday, saying she was informed that her former husband was set to marry Ma. Lalaine Lim, the woman he replaced her with, in a Church wedding yesterday. "My former husband appears to be living a wealthy lifestyle, having even married his new wife twice, the first in December, and the other at L'Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City on Sunday, so how can he say he does not have money for child support?" Jenelyn asked.

folk appeal for reconciliation
BY NIDA BUENAFE

The 187 Pulupandan residents accused of five counts of grave threats by supporters of Mayor Magdaleno Peņa yesterday signed an appeal calling for peace, reconciliation and unity for the development of their town.

Members of KIHUSAK 187-Pulupandan (Kinamatarung, Hustisya sg mga Kubos) and their families called on the mayor and the complainants in the five cases, to drop the charges to pave the way for peace and development in Pulupandan.

Of the 187 accused, 45 voluntarily surrendered to the Pulupandan police and were jailed for seven days. Twenty-six of them were set free on July 6 after the complainants dropped the charges against them. In their appeal, the accused residents acknowledged that the election has long been over and that Pulupandan is now under a new administration.moremoremore
