NBI releases two sketches
of bizman's slay suspects

The National Bureau of Investigation yesterday released the facial sketches of the two house helpers tagged in the killing of a Chinese-Filipino businessman in Bacolod City on June 15.

The cartographic sketches of "Ferrer" and "Marby", suspects in the killing of Fransisco Lim, were earlier withheld by the bureau while conducted follow-up investigations on their whereabouts.

The artists' drawing show, "Ferrer" to be about 20-25 years old, of medium build, with dark brown complexion, and about 5 feet 6 inches tall.

He also has tattoos on his right arm and on the right side of his back and speaks fluent Ilonggo, NBI records showed.

On the other hand, "Marby", who speaks Cebuano, is about 17 years old, of small build with fair complexion, and about 4 feet 11 inches tall, the bureau said.

Case investigator Ramilo Quinto said that the Lim case is far from being solved and they are still searching for the suspects.

Bacolod City Police Office director Senior Supt. Ronilo Quebrar, meanwhile, called on the public to report any sightings of "Ferrer" and "Marby" to law enforcement agencies like the Philippine National Police, NBI, and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.

Lim was found dead in his family's house at C.L. Montelibano Avenue, Corner Narra Street, Bacolod City on June 15 with multiple stab and hack wounds. This happened three weeks after they hired the two suspects as house helpers without any bio-data.

The PNP and the NBI said that they are eyeing robbery as the main motive for the crime.*PP
