Stars in town

Hearthrobs Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby took Bacolod City by storm, causing heavy traffic on streets leading to the Gaisano and SM malls.

Piolo, John Prats and Pokwang were at Gaisano while Sam Milby with Rachelle Ann Go were at SM, with the Sabado Barkada group. The stars of the ABS-CBN Kapamilya network then went to the University of St. La Salle Gym for rehearsals of their show.

The heartthrobs were actually a little bit late, but when Piolo and Sam came out, the shouting, stomping seemed endless, as cameras keep flashing everywhere. The show was a great success especially with the funny Pokwang and John Prats, and Rachelle Ann who mesmerized the crowd with her songs.

Ladies had a grand time posing, dancing, and even kissing Piolo and Sam on the cheeks. Well ..

The blessing and the inauguration of the expanded classroom of Lamblight Catholic School was held with Mayor Bing Leonardia, Bishop Vicente Navarra, Bro. Ray Suplido of La Salle and Fr. Gary Fuentebella of St. John, among the special guests.

Marc and Margot Lopez own the school, the only progressive Catholic preschool and elementary school in the city. Marc, a Psychology graduate from DSLU in Manila took additional units in Education and passed the board examinations, and attended special training at U.P. He went around the country observing other progressive schools, while Margot, a graduate of Assumption in Manila, is the director for Administration.

Tez Conde Sichon, a trained Montessori Directress is the academic coordinator.

At the start in 2003 they had only seven students but now have 45 students.
