3DJ, STP gain edge

Roger Jaype scored 20 points to lead 3DJ Enterprises to a 64-50 victory over Synchrotec in the YBAC Summer Tournament at the Manville Royale Gym in Bacolod City.

With the win, 3DJ earned the twice-to-beat advantage against JJS Enterprises in the semifinals. Nars Galang II and Oca Aquino added 10 points each in the win. Synchrotek was led by the trio of Pax Rodriguez, Coco Rodrigo and Raymar Pandanduyan, who combined for 25 points.

Meanwhile, STP posted a 94-77 rout of JJS to also gain the twice-to-beat edge when it faces Synchrotek in the semis.

Col. Rolen Bayquin waxed hot with 22 points, while Maj. Randy Pudadera and Doods Siopan chipped in 12 each. Dennis Adon scored 21 points, while June delos Reyes and Nonong Java joined hands for 29 points. *
