The advance party for the visit of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to Negros Occidental on Feb. 2 has arrived, Gov. Joseph Marañon said yesterday.

The president will attend the commissioning of the Northern Negros Geothermal Power Plant in Barangay Mailum, Bago City.

She will also attend the inauguration of the Teresita L. Jalandoni Memorial Provincial Hospital in Silay City and the Teleperformance call center in Bacolod City, he reiterated.

He said, however, that the schedule of the president is subject to change.*CPG
