Triple-C, Active bets triumph

Triple-C and Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers Inc.-Ladies emerged champion in the Open Trio Bowling Championship Sunday night at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The Fred Reyes ASSFBI Triple-C pinbusters beat sister team, Silverado of Cecil Silverio in the finals, 357-355, before ASSFBI Ladies defeated Negros Professional Bowlers Club in the women's bracket.

Carrying the colors for champion squad were Allan Baer, Dan Dadivas, Steve Ramos and Nerio Regollo, while Juliet Regollo, Sylvia Damondamon and Leah Javier for the distaff side. Norman Pineda, Pete Aplaon and Nene Borlado played for Silverado.

The tournament is in preparation for the forthcoming Dinagyang National Open Trio Championship that starts Jan. 25 in Iloilo City.*HLG
