Merci Bakeshop and Pasalubong Center opened its 12th branch in Cadiz recently. The affair began with a blessing by Rev. Dave King from the Bacolod Trinity Christian Church. Cadiz's Magsaysay Street was closed as people flocked to watch the festivity with beats and dances from the Tribu Kilusan.

Merci is managed by Jonathan and Liza Lo. Among those seen during the affair were his parents Dr. Manuel and Corazon Lo, Mayor Salvador and Mariel Lopez-Escalante, Councilor Tonette Lacson, Cadiz City Police Chief Jefferson Descallar, Filmor Bacharo, and other city officials. The Mayor welcomed the investment in their city.

Meanwhile, it was a two-night series as Negrense nocturnal and party animals drank and danced the nights away to the explosive party music and at Café Breizh when it introduced an energy drink.*
