Prices of "B" or raw sugar inched higher up to P1,218.90 per 50-kilo Lkg level this week, from only P1,208.89 the previous week.

The "B" Sugar Price Monitor of the Sugar Master Plan Foundation shows that the lowest bidding price this week was at P1,112.82 while at only P1,080 last week.

Binalbagan-Isabela Sugar Company disposed its stocks at P1,160; Central Azucarera de La Carlota, P130.10; Hawaiian-Philippine Company, P1,143.10; SONEDCO, P112.82; Victorias Milling Company, P1,130; Lopez Sugar Corp., P1,130; Sagay Central Inc., P1,130; CADP, P1,170; BUSCO, P1,120; Passi I, P1,218; Passi II, P1,160.01; and Pilar, P1,135.35.

Millgate prices in the first week of January were from P1,204.25 to P1,149.68 per Lkg. and while in the previous week, the lowest price P1,067.67 while the highest, at P1,208.89.*NLG
