BACIWA offers solutions
to Brgy. Felisa residents

The Bacolod City Water District has offered solutions to the water shortage problem raised by residents of Bangga Totong in Brgy. Felisa (not Estefania), its operations head Samuel Penado said yesterday.

Penado said BACIWA engineers met with Kalubkob Community Association Inc. president, Segismundo Hiponia, during their inspection yesterday and told him the residents can avail of disturbance compensation if they will opt to apply for water supply connection.

He told the DAILY STAR that the compensation is part of the conditions set by the city government when it lifted the cease-and-desist on the operations of BACIWA's Well Nos. 7 and 8. But Penado said that they will still provide assistance to those who will choose to have their hand pumps repaired as what they did in Brgy. Handumanan.
