Eighteen contestants are vying for the title of Sinulog Queen 2006 in Kabankalan City to be staged at the City Hall grounds in Brgy. Talubangi, 8 p.m. on Jan. 19.

The candidates of the tilt directed by Rene Hinojales will also join a pictorial at the Mag-aso Falls in Brgy. Oringao on Saturday, a press release from the Kabankalan City Hall said.

The candidates are Aprilyn Gustilo, Loiza Marie Tonico, Ma. Jimmyl Garilao, Ria Jeannie Gatoc, Rogelia Catacutan, Monaliza Aboy, Sarah Jane Gaso, Syvel Cornel, Gene Glory Dy, Jayvie Joy Jovera, Princess Aubrey Tan, Maita Toriales, Mary Grace Salvacion, Heidi Jhanyn Torres, Jovilyn Mahinay, Ma. Bryne Catherine Marchan, Alfie Marie Nathanile Uy, and Jhona Grace Estrope.

Before the pageant, the ABS-CBN's top six dreamers will hold a concert at the Kabankalan football field to start at 5 p.m., the press release said.*
