One big, happy family

The Season of Advent is a time to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. And what better way to commemorate this occasion than to unite as one family, enjoy each other's company, and showcase their prowess in singing Christmas carols? The PNB family marked it with the loudest bang recently at Pearl Manor. Since it was the last working day before the Yuletide holidays, everybody was in high spirits wrapping their presents for the exchange of gifts. Others were busy practicing their song and dance steps, and preparing props needed for the event.

Girl Menchaca led the invocation, followed by the singing of the Our Father by the PNB Mass Choir, and a sumptuous dinner. During coffee time, an intermission number was given by Anton Derayunan and Ann Malata, followed by the blowing of candles by the December birthday celebrators.

The Daigon contest was participated in by the different departments. The Credit Investigator group presented the wackiest number. It was their first and final practice and all were in Xmas spirit holding stars. Bacolod branch won the contest. Admin and Bacolod Business center settled for a tie.

The parlor games were hosted by Vicky Fuentes and Ann Malata. Exchange gifts and dance, dance and dance, with the Auriga Band headed by Levy Buenacosa of Loans department providing the music, followed.

In the 14 years that I have been with the bank, it was one of the most memorable and joyous and well-attended Christmas parties with the bigwigs of PNB singing and dancing with the guests.

Ed Pama and Excuse Moi hosted the program. Happy Three Kings Day! Remember: "God will not send us where He cannot sustain us."*
