NFA names Bejemino
as Neg.Occ. manager

A government employee who rose from the ranks is the new manager of the National Food Authority in Negros Occidental, a press release from the office said.

Marianito Bejemino, who was assigned in Oriental Negros before his new assignment, succeeded Gil Ibarra, who was transferred to NFA-Oriental Negros on Dec. 27.

The NFA-Negros Occidental press release also said the transfers are part of the agency's policy on the reassignment of its officials.

Bejemino, a native of Passi City, Iloilo, has been working with the NFA for the past 30 years, starting as a drier operator.

He has also worked as a power plant and truckscale operator, grains classifier, plant engineer, warehouse supervisor and became an assistant provincial manager in 1994.

In 1999, he was named provincial manager and was assigned to various provinces, including Capiz, Aklan and Antique.*
