Connie gets married (part 2)

Connie Jimenez and Ramon Aquino tied the knot with a power groupie of sponsors including Ofelia Montelibano, Susan Servando, Milagros Divino, Daniel Lacson Jr., Manuel Ortiz-Luis Jr., Nathan Servando, Elenita O.L. Panlilio, Ma. Elena Fermin, Ofelia del Rosario, Edgardo Panlilio, Bartolome Lacson, Vicente Macasa Jr., Gemma Sala, Socorro Lim, Dolores Lopez, Melinda Garcia, Ambassador Sergio Ortiz-Luis Jr., Antonio O.L. Panlilio, Antonio Juen and Alexander O. L. Panlilio.

The guests filed into a candle-lit La Proa Ballroom of ritzy L'Fisher Hotel. Petite white orchids mocked cherry blossoms on bare branches under the light of a paper moon transporting one and all into the midsummer's night theme that Connie wanted for her wedding. Repertoire Philippine's Nelson Carruncho serenaded the enchanted guests with an Italian song as they sipped their cocktails of bubbly champagne, vodka, wine, sangria and scotch whiskey accompanied by curl tipped grissini, piaya crackers and chicken inasal paté. After a feast of a menu that included roast beef, pan fried tangigue with herb butter, chicken stroganoff and lechon, mango mallows in Bavarian cream and chocolate éclairs, everyone went on their feet to dance to the beat of the Checkmates with guests climbing up the stage of the band to sing along with them, making it a giddy, rowdy and fun end to a most romantic wedding.

The newly-weds went for a honeymoon in Asia's entertainment mecca of Macau.
