Skills training participants
set to receive certificates

Participants in the Entrepreneurial Skills Training Program of Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia conducted by the City Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office will receive their Certificates of Attendance, 1 p.m. today at the ABC Hall in Bacolod City.

Leonardia said he is congratulating the participants for taking a vital step towards entrepreneurship. The skills training program will be a great help in looking for an alternative source of income for city residents, Leonardia said in a press release.

The training covered skills development in cakes, pastries and meat processing, chocolate-making and designing, soap-making, mask-making workshop, reflexology and massage therapy, entrepreneurial development seminar, basic exporting and marketing as well as basic hair-cutting and cosmetology.

Leonardia, Yolanda Porschwitz and a representative from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and Department of Trade and Industry, will hand out the certificates.

The activity was held in coordination with TESDA, DTI and the Department of Education Non-formal Trainer, the press release said.*
