Connie gets married

She dreamed of a wedding under a midsummer's full moon with cherry blossoms in the air…and that's exactly what young lady lawyer Connie Jimenez got from doting aunt Tima Lacson and Millie Kilayko when she wed Ramon Aquino.

The nuptials took place at the Queen of Peace Church in the City of Smiles, of course, Bacolod! Imperial Manille's Panlilio-Aquino clan came in full force for the solemn rites officiated by Fr. Bernard Ybiernas. The bride designed her own bridal gown executed by chic petite Ria Montelibano.

A dream dinner reception followed at the ultra elegant La Proa Ballroom of exclusive temple of luxury, L'Fisher Hotel. Dahlings, BTW (by the way) I just arrived from a 3-week stint in Paris. It was the mildest and coldest winter I've been through. Got a new haircut and bought a cheapo jacket. Let's talk about that soonest… For the meantime, this will be followed by a blow-by-blow account of this dream wedding of a typical Bacolod belle!

RUBY WEDDING

Greetings to my dearest prima hermana Jerette (who was a Congressman's big LUV before she got married) and Francis Ballesteros who will celebrate 40 years of bliss.

MY PRAYER

I take this time to be holy, the world rushes on. Let me spend much time in secret with the Lord alone. *
