Environmental forum slated

The Center for Environmental Initiatives will hold its 15th environment forum 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 28, at the Governor's Hall, Provincial Capitol Building, Bacolod City, a press release from the group said.

Gov. Joseph Marañon will welcome CEI members and participants. The giving of updates on various environmental issues by the Provincial Environment Management Office, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Office will follow.

The highlight of the forum will be the orientation on the Foundation of the Philippine Environment Grant Mechanism for people and non-government organizations by a presentor from the FPE Regional Office in Cebu City, the press release also said.*
