Sayson: I'm willing to run
for VM if chosen by NPC
BY CHRYSEE SAMILLANO

Bacolod Councilor Jude Thaddeus Sayson yesterday clarified that he is willing to run as vice mayor of Mayor Evelio Leonardia only if he will be chosen by the Nationalist People's Coalition.

Sayson said he would like to run with Leonardia but if he is not selected by the party he would seek reelection for councilor rather than run for vice mayor of another party.

He said he has been an independent candidate before and if ever he is chosen to be the running mate of Leonardia, he would not mind swearing in as an NPC member.

Other probable candidates for vice mayor are Councilors Lyndon Caņa, Elmer Sy, Al Victor Espino and former Bacolod police director Chief Supt. Vicente Ponteras.*CGS
