A torch parade yesterday was held by the Kapunungan sa mga Mass Communicators.

Other activities are: Open House at Guy Hall, featuring exhibits in Photography of the students, and Environmental Journalism tomorrow; Wednesday -- Newsmakers' Night, a party for the Masscom students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and Miss MassCom search to select the department representative to the Ms. Silliman Pageant in August; Thursday, 6 p.m -- screening of "Sarong Banggi," an award-winning film by Emmanuel de la Cruz; Friday, 7:30 p.m. -- screening of "Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Olivero," and award-winning movie by Raymond Lee. Both screenwriters and directors are guests of the College, the press release said.

The College has strengthened its offering of the Certificate in Environmental Journalism for students and professionals, and has beefed up its faculty expertise with industry professionals from Manila and abroad as adjunct professors, the press release also said.*
