The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod unanimously passed yesterday a resolution conferring upon Eduardo Murphy Cojuangco Jr., the distinguished honor of being an adopted son of Bacolod City.

The resolution was requested by the Negros Tsinoy through Mayor Evelio Leonardia, in cognizance of Cojuangco's meritorious contributions to the upliftment of the conditions of the Filipino people and his numerous humanitarian accomplishments.

Meanwhile, the SP yesterday concurred in the appointment of Dr. Edgardo Estrella as City Health Officer of Bacolod City.*CGS
