FOR
2007 POLLS Dumaguete Mayor Agustin Perdices said the Macias, Arnaiz, Perdices alliance remains intact, contrary to speculations of a split. This was after Perdices was reported to be moving up the political ladder and planning to run for governor against his childhood friend, Rep. Emilio "Dodo" Macias II (2nd district, Oriental Negros). The alliance will support each other, Perdices said. He said he decided to drop his plan to run for governor
against Macias when Arnaiz asked him to finish the various projects
they have started for Dumaguete. |
