Victorias dad loses
P.4M in dawn heist
Unidentified persons broke into the residence of
a Victorias City councilor located beside a badminton court at 13th-Lacson
streets, Bacolod City, at about 4 a.m. yesterday.
In behalf of his father, Pacifico Adorio Jr.,
reported to Police Station 2 that unidentified persons entered their
house and stole a Rolex watch, a gold ring with a diamond, and three
cellular phones. The stolen items were worth about P430,000, police
reports said. The suspects reportedly climbed the nearby post and
gained entrance though the window of the building.
SPO1 Rolando Pakingking, of Police Station 2 yesterday
told the DAILY STAR, the police already have the identity of the
suspects in the robbery, but they are still validating their information.*DMG

attacked by 4 neighbors
A man and his live-in partner were wounded when four
persons allegedly attacked them at their residence at Purok Lampirong,
Brgy. 2, Bacolod City at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Complainant Johnny Dogomeo Caņo, 42, told the
police that his neighbors Dexter Azibuki, a certain "Dapa", "Tabo
Bitoon" and Weng-weng Bajinting broke into their house, and beat
them up, police reports said.
Caņo told the police they were sleeping when
they heard a firecracker explosion in front of their residence.
When he woke up to check, he was surprised to see the suspects armed
with an improvised shotgun, or "sumpak", a bolo and a piece of wood.
He said the suspects attacked him and his live-in partner, Mary
Jane Mondragon, causing them injuries, police reports said.
The complainants were brought to the Corazon Locsin
Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital with injuries on their hands
and heads, police reports also said.*DMG
