Bacolod City 's senior netters sparkled as they bagged two titles in the Hon. Gov. Niel D. Tupas Sr. Open Tennis Tournament at the Iloilo Sports Complex in Lapaz, Iloilo City Saturday.

The Bacolod pair of Boy Mellendez and Nene Sagansay wrested the 50-Up crown from Larry Zarragosa and Danny Sochan of Roxas, before Bong Arguelles and Ed Rodriguez overcame another Roxas-based pair, Dr. Lacalle and Arnulfo Balgos, in the 40-up title match.

The victories compensated for the defeats of Paolo Baran in the 14-Under singles finals and Ed Rodriguez Jr. and Paul Allego in the men's doubles open championship.
