| The Organization of Free Workers–Against Labor Oppression will declare their boycott of all products of Coca-Cola Bottlers Phils. Inc. during a “Workers' Forum” on Dec. 28, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the Workers' Livelihood Center in Bacolod City , a press release from the group said.
The group said their move is in support of the CCBPI Sales Force Union whose three officers and seven members were terminated recently without due process.
This act is considered by OFW-ALO a flagrant violation of the workers' rights intended to weaken and decimate union membership, they said in the press release.
The OFW-ALO said they will consolidate their forces for the boycott campaign against the CCBPI management and to support the CCBPI Salesforce Union on its impending labor strike.
The move is also in support of a resolution passed by the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines, urging the workers and the public to boycott all Coca-Cola products, during the 7 th National Convention of TUCP on Dec. 14 in Diliman, Quezon City, the press release said.*
