Kin of OFW seek justice
BY PATRICK PANGILINAN

The family of an Overseas Filipino Worker who died allegedly in an accident in Dubai , yesterday asked for justice for her death, claiming that there was foul play behind it.

In an ABS-CBN interview, the family of Cleofe Tanjusay of Cauayan said they don't believe her alleged fall from a building in the Middle East state was an accident.

“We want justice for her death. We really believe (there was foul play),” Amary Asagra, Tanjusay's sister said.

A Dubai newspaper reportedly said that Tanjusay, of Cauayan town, Negros Occidental, died while trying to run away from her employer.

Reports also said that an autopsy had been conducted on the OFW's remains and her body showed multiple fractures.

National Bureau of Investigation Bacolod chief, Mamerto Cortez, on the other hand, said there is no coordination yet about an autopsy on Tanjusay's body, which now lies in state at St. Peter's Memorial Chapels in Brgy. Alijis, Bacolod City.*PP
