The newly-elected officers of the Liga ng mga Barangay in Himamaylan City led by Martin Florencio Villafranca took their oath recently before Mayor Carminia Bascon, a press release from the city said.

Sworn in with Villafranca were Ricky Genova, vice president; Evangeline Gran, auditor; and Mario Lamela, Zenia Sebusa, Felicidad Badajos, Ofelia Sencil, Ramon Moncera, Jesus Alipo-on, Mary Jane Faduga, and Rita Ann Tamargo, members, board of directors.

They were elected in the Liga ng mga Barangay election in Himamaylan on Dec. 11.

City DILG officer Mia Asuncion Gatilogo was chairman of the Board of Election Supervisors during the election, the press release said.*
