Policemen help
feed children
BY MARICAR ARANAS

Around 40 indigent children from depressed areas of Barangay Agan-an, Sibulan, Negros Oriental, benefited from the share-a-meal with children Christmas project of the police provincial command held Friday, at the PNP Day Care Center in Camp Fernandez, Agan-an.

Insp. Rosalinda Abellon of the PNP Community Relations office said the program started last year for day care children studying at the PNP Day Care.

This year the number of children was doubled because of the increase in the enrollees. Abellon said the program is aimed at encouraging policemen and the community to share their blessings this Christmas.

Abellon said the PNP is hoping that next year, they can give more to these children and more can benefit from the program.

Records show that the Day Care program of the PNP Provincial Command had contributed to the Most Outstanding PNP Provincial Office Award of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office this year.*MA
