VRHD turns 28

Frs. Art Arnaiz, Gerry Alminaza and Felix Pasquin celebrated a Thanksgiving Mass for the 28 th anniversary of the Volunteers for the Rehabilation of the Handicapped and Disabled Inc., recently.

The occasion was held at Grand Function Room of the Bacolod Pavilion Resort and Resto in Bacolod .

The VRHD is a non-stock, non-profit, non-­government organization which has been operating in Negros Occidental, with the primary objective of providing rehabilitation, medical, livelihood, education, nutrition and advocacy services to indigent patients, person with disabilities and children.

Harris Nandwani, VRHD chairperson welcomed everybody and the fun began.

It was really nice to watch “special children” enjoying and dancing “Kembot,” interpreted dancing, and song numbers, which their parents, relatives and guests enjoyed.

The inspirational message was given by VRHD president Mila Chiu who thanked everyone for coming.

Treasurer of VRHD Tita Bucay Ramos, Incorporator of the organization, was busy checking on every visitor, and almost five hundred-fifty beneficiaries who attended the affair.
