| No transport strike in The entire Negros Oriental was not affected by the two-day nationally coordinated transport strike that kicked off yesterday. Neither government officials and the transport sector in the province and Dumaguete City has declared the stoppage of transport operations, and pedicabs, jeepneys and buses continued to ply the streets. The local chapter of transport group, PISTON, also did not declare a strike, unlike in Bacolod City where more than 96 percent of public transportation was crippled. | ||||||||||||||||
