Career fair held at USLS

Third and fourth year high school students from different schools in the province visited the 13 career booths set up at the University of St. La Salle Coliseum for this year's Career Fair.

The activity, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Bacolod North in cooperation with the USLS, provides students some guidance on what career to choose after graduating from high school, Rotarian Bert Nelas said.

Professionals manned the booths from which students can inquire about a particular college course, he said.

The activity, which has become an annual event for the Rotary since 2004, proved to be a big help to students who have not decided yet on what course to take up in college, Nelas said.

He added they will continue holding the activity every year to help students choose their careers and to encourage them to take up courses that suit them best.*NAB
