Musicals and reunions

The Garcia-Sanchez School of Dance, Modern Jazz and Contemporary Ballet students will be featured in a dance recital this Dec. 15 at the St.Scholastica Gym, 6:30 p.m.

The themes for the Modern Jazz classes are: High School Musical 2, Cheetah Girls 2 and Hannah Montana. Contemporary Ballet will feature exciting dances that will transport the audience to new heights. Proceeds will be for Puluy-an, Home for the Homeless, of the Halad kay Maria Foundation.

Talking of High School, La Salle Class '64-'68 held their reunion lately to welcome Albert Suarez and his wife Marian. It was so much fun that a couple of weeks later, the other Suarez twin, Robert, came with Albert and together with another visiting classmate, Tommy de Leon, filled our memories with the wholesome escapades that marked our grade school and high school days.

Giving meaning to the affair was our trigonometry teacher, math wiz Alberto Rile, who filled us up with our naughty capers that we have almost forgotten. The wives looked in amazement as the former classmates yelled and laughed their hearts out reliving those golden moments. Yes, boys will stay like boys — once they're all together, again!

MY PRAYER

The Light on Your face has been shed upon us. You have given joy to our hearts!*
